Dachshund puppies for Edinburgh, Scotland
The kennel is based in Lombardy, Italy. Delivery is available in Italy and Europe, including for families in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Edinburgh is a city of steps and slopes: closes plunge off the Royal Mile, Arthur’s Seat rises above Holyrood Park and the New Town runs downhill towards the Firth of Forth. That makes it a place where a dachshund should be carried more often than in most cities, particularly on long stone stairways. The haar and the east wind can make even a summer day feel cold, so a smooth-coated dog will welcome a jacket. The beach at Portobello offers a flatter change of scene.
LA BANDA BASSOTTO breeds Kaninchen, miniature and standard dachshunds. The kennel is in Lombardy, Italy.

Questions
Can a dachshund walk up Arthur’s Seat?
A fit adult can manage the gentler paths around Holyrood Park at a relaxed pace, but the steep rocky sections are hard on a long back. Avoid them with a puppy and carry the dog over any big steps. The lower loop around the park makes a better everyday walk.
