Dachshund puppies for Birmingham, West Midlands
The kennel is based in Lombardy, Italy. Delivery is available in Italy and Europe, including for families in Birmingham, West Midlands.
Birmingham sits on a plateau in the heart of England, far from any coast, and its network of canals gives dog walkers miles of level towpath. Sutton Park, to the north, adds heathland, woods and pools for longer weekend outings. For a dachshund, the main hazards are the steps at locks and bridges – carry the dog rather than let it scramble – and the water itself, which is deep with sheer edges. Winters are cool and damp rather than harsh.
LA BANDA BASSOTTO breeds Kaninchen, miniature and standard dachshunds. The kennel is in Lombardy, Italy.

Questions
Are Birmingham’s canal towpaths safe for a dachshund?
They are pleasant and flat, but the edges drop straight into deep water, so keep a short lead and stay on the inside of the path. Watch for cyclists and for steps at locks and bridges, where it is kinder to carry the dog. A dachshund that slips in can struggle to climb out, so never let it explore the edge unsupervised.
