Dachshund puppies for Cork, Munster
The kennel is based in Lombardy, Italy. Delivery is available in Italy and Europe, including for families in Cork, Munster.
Cork grew up on islands in the River Lee, and the hills rising on either side, especially to the north around Shandon, make for steep streets and stairways. For a dachshund, the flat riverside quays, the Lee Fields and the Marina make kinder everyday routes. Cork Harbour and the coast are close by for weekend outings, where wind and wet sand mean a thorough dry-off afterwards. The mild, damp climate rarely brings snow but often brings rain.

Questions
How do I handle Cork’s steep streets with a dachshund?
Walk up gentle slopes at an easy pace, but avoid long flights of steps and carry the dog where the gradient is sharp. Choose flatter routes along the Lee for longer walks. This matters most in the first year, while the back and joints are still developing.
