LA BANDA BASSOTTO is based in Lombardy, Italy. Delivery is available in Italy and Europe, including Ireland.
Ireland remains part of the EU’s pet travel system, so a puppy coming from Italy travels with a microchip, a European pet passport and a valid rabies vaccination, which can be given from 12 weeks of age and becomes valid 21 days later. Ireland also requires a tapeworm (Echinococcus) treatment 1–5 days before arrival, a step shared only with Finland and Malta among the countries applying these rules. The dachshund, a German breed under FCI standard no. 148 with three sizes and three coat types, copes well with Ireland’s mild, wet climate, though smooth coats appreciate a rain jacket.
LA BANDA BASSOTTO breeds Kaninchen, miniature and standard dachshunds. Families in Ireland can see the puppies currently listed and contact the kennel about their destination.

On top of the microchip, EU pet passport and rabies vaccination, Ireland requires a tapeworm (Echinococcus) treatment given 1–5 days before the puppy arrives. Because the window is short, the timing needs to be planned around the travel date.
